Officials say four people reported shark bites off South Padre Island, Texas, on the Fourth of July. Three of them were taken to a hospital and the other was treated at the scene. The attacks are now among at least 15 in the waters off U.S. beaches this year.

Chainsaws, a large kitchen sink and tasers are just some surprising items that passengers have tried to bring through TSA checkpoints. Every year around the Fourth of July, there’s also an increase in fireworks. The TSA is expected to break another travel record on Sunday.
