Thousands of pagers and radios held by Hezbollah members have exploded across Lebanon and Syria, killing more than a dozen people and wounding thousands. The attacks bear the hallmarks of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, known for daring covert operations like the 2020 assassination of Iran’s top nuclear scientist.

“CBS Mornings” revealed the first cast members of the new CBS daytime drama, “Beyond the Gates.” It will be the first hour-long daytime soap on TV featuring a Black cast. The first actors to join the cast are Tamara Tunie, Daphnee Duplaix and Karla Mosley.

Intelligence officials say Iranian hackers sent unsolicited information stolen from the Trump campaign to people associated with President Biden’s re-election campaign. Officials say there is no evidence that any recipients responded to the emails and a former Biden campaign official tells CBS News that material was not used.
