Evans is just over three feet-tall and weighs 35-40 pounds. She was wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans, according to the MPD.
According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Evans’ mother left the girl with a homeless woman outside of a Target store. The BCA said she was acquaintances with the woman.

The woman who allegedly took Evans is “a 32-year-old bi-racial female, last seen wearing a tie-dye shirt and light gray leggings,” according to the agency.
She is not believed to be in danger, but her mother is concerned for her well-being and wants the child returned, according to the BCA.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call the MPD at 612-348-2345.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
