What is the monthly support of the FFESP program?
The FFESP not only gives money to help, but it is also meant to fix the economic problems that African American, Native American, and other historically underserved communities face. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of life for low-income families with children under 5 years old.
By giving the 200 randomly chosen families a $725 monthly payment, the program hopes to make their lives easier financially by helping them pay for things like food, rent, and utilities. There are no limits on how these funds can be used.
Random drawings will be held between April and May 2025 to choose the 200 people who will be in the program. By mid-June, payments will be sent to families living below 200% of the federal poverty level, making the program more accessible to those who need it the most.
