The White House has released the results of President Trump's physical

The White House released the results of President Trump’s physical on Sunday, with the White House physician stating that the president “remains in excellent health.”

“His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being,” Capt. Sean Barbabella, Mr. Trump’s physician, stated in a summary of the president’s physical results. Barbabella cited Mr. Trump’s attendance at meetings, public appearances, and press conferences, as well as his “frequent victories in golf events.”

“President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” Barbabella said in her conclusion.

The results of Mr. Trump’s annual physical, the first of his second term, were released after he underwent the exam on Friday at Walter Reed Hospital. The 78-year-old had his last known comprehensive examination in September 2023, and he only revealed a few details about the visit. Mr. Trump’s last annual physical as president was in June 2020. At the time, the White House reported that he weighed 244 pounds and had a blood pressure of 121/79.

Mr. Trump’s doctor said after his most recent physical that the president weighed 224 pounds and had a blood pressure of 128 over 74. The doctor also said he did a thorough neurological examination, which revealed “no abnormalities in his mental status.”

The memo stated that Mr. Trump’s head/ear/nose/throat revealed “no significant abnormalities,” with the “exception of scaring [sic] on the right ear from a gunshot wound.” There was no other mention of the gunshot wound he received during the July 2024 assassination attempt.

The memo also stated that a colonoscopy in July 2024 revealed diverticulosis and a benign polyp.
