Alabama — A Huntsville man was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly firing gunshots into an apartment complex on Patton Road.
The Huntsville Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 11 p.m. in the 4300 block of Patton Road.
When officers arrived, they found that one of the apartments had been hit by bullets.
Authorities confirmed that people were present in the unit at the time, but no injuries were reported.
While searching the area, officers discovered shell casings outside the window of a nearby apartment.
The people inside the apartment were detained as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police have yet to release the suspect’s name or the charges filed. The investigation continues.
