You don't rule this house' Woman shoots at roommate amid quarrel over who's actually in charge, police say

A Florida woman is facing multiple charges for shooting a man she lives with after he told her, “You don’t run this house,” prompting her to spit in the victim’s face and pull a silver revolver on him, which she blasted in his direction at least four times, according to police.

Cassandra Stuckey allegedly called the victim a “p— boy” before shooting him, according to her arrest report, obtained by local ABC affiliate WPLG.

Stuckey, a Miami resident, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon and illegal firearm possession in connection with the alleged Sunday night shooting attack, according to court records.

The man, who has not been publicly identified, was at a home he shares with Stuckey in the 1800 block of Northwest 44th Street when she allegedly shot him, according to the Miami Police Department.

According to WPLG, the victim reported to authorities that he overheard Stuckey discussing how she “runs this house” with someone outside. When she walked in, he allegedly said to Stuckey, “You don’t run this house,” before entering his room.

According to police, Stuckey took the revolver from her bedroom and approached the victim’s glass-paneled door to his room, tapping it with the gun. After calling him a “p— boy,” she fired one shot into his room, followed by four more, according to police. A witness at the scene allegedly told detectives that he overheard the argument and saw Stuckey fire “three to four rounds” into the victim’s bedroom.

According to WPLG, Stuckey, a four-time convicted felon for cocaine possession, denied firing a gun into the victim’s bedroom and pointed out that there were no bullet holes in the victim’s door to back it up. The next day, a gun matching the witness and victim descriptions was allegedly discovered inside the home.

It’s unclear what kind of relationship Stuckey and the victim had; cops only say they lived together. According to jail records, Stuckey was held Monday on a $12,500 bond.
