A post office worker was caught on tape hitting a little child while in full uniform

Disturbing footage appears to show a postal worker in Ohio brutally beating a 10-year-old girl while still in her full uniform.

The video, obtained by WOIO, shows the grown woman throwing the child to the ground and grappling with her outside an elementary school in Cleveland.

According to a police report obtained by the outlet, the child told officers that the violent incident began when another student attacked her with a book bag as she walked to the bus.

The youngster claimed that the other girl’s mother, a postal worker, then became involved.

According to the report, the unidentified woman “jumped into the fight and called her a ‘B-word’ and pushed her to the ground, causing (her) to hit her head on the tree,” WOIO reported.

According to the report, the officer believes the woman should be charged with several offenses, including criminal activity on school property, child delinquency, assault, and child endangerment.

Although the incident occurred seven months ago, no charges have been filed.

WOIO investigations revealed that the charges were mistakenly sent to the county prosecutor’s office rather than the Cleveland Prosecutor’s Office. The county prosecutor declined to review the charges because they did not constitute felonies, according to the outlet.

The city prosecutor’s office also stated that it had received no information about the case before being contacted by the outlet.

In response to a request for comment, Ian Ortega, a US Postal Inspector with the Cleveland Field Office, stated that they would not become involved.

“This incident falls outside of our purview and would be a local law enforcement matter, as the employee was off the clock merely still wearing her postal uniform,” Ortega said in an interview with WOIO.
