Eden Prairie, Minnesota — According to police, multiple fights erupted during an overcrowded basketball showcase at Eden Prairie High School.
According to a release, the Eden Prairie Police Department was initially called to the school shortly before 6 p.m. to assist in dispersing the crowd at the Prep Hoops North Battle at the Lakes tournament.
Several “minor scuffles” occurred as officers attempted to disperse the crowd, but no injuries or arrests were reported, according to Eden Prairie Police.
In a statement, Eden Prairie Schools claimed that Prep Hoops North violated its rental agreement by failing to manage attendee behavior and breaking capacity rules.
