A Georgia family is mourning the death of an 18-year-old man who was about to graduate high school when three masked gunmen, posing as Uber Eats drivers, opened fire on him after he opened the door.
Martino Allen, the victim, heard a knock on the door at an apartment complex in Union City, just outside Atlanta, around 10 p.m. Monday, according to his mother Tiffany Fuller, who spoke with local ABC affiliate WSB and Fox affiliate WAGA.
“Someone knocked on the door and said Uber Eats, and when my son opened the door, they just started shooting him,” she told me.
Three gunmen, wearing masks and hoods, opened fire. The shots were captured by a neighbor’s Ring camera.
Allen’s family stated that he had been having problems with some people at school and believed he was “set up.” Some of the people in the apartment with him fled after the shooting and did not help or speak with police, according to his family.

Allen was a senior at McNair High School who had just attended prom last week, according to Fuller.
“They took my baby,” she explained. “My baby’s gone.”
The death has been difficult for the family.
“This has completely broken my family in half,” Allen’s sister Kamiya Fuller said.
Police are reviewing the videos but have made no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to contact Union City Police.
“If you know anything, please say something,” his sister asked. “This could be your child.”
