Target is stepping up its game in 2025 with exciting updates to its Circle 360 membership program. In an effort to win back shoppers and boost value, the retail giant has introduced a major benefit—removing price markups on same-day delivery from over 100 partner retailers. This change makes shopping faster, easier, and more affordable for members, offering huge time and money savings.
What Is Target Circle 360?
Target Circle 360 is a paid membership program that offers customers premium shopping benefits for $99 a year or $10.99 per month. It competes with other retail subscriptions like Walmart+, providing perks like free two-day shipping, unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35, and an extended 120-day return window with no-rush returns.
Members also get access to exclusive discounts, early product drops, and now, a major new feature—same-day delivery from dozens of well-known retailers at no extra cost.
A Big Change: No More Markups
On May 19, Target announced a major update to Circle 360: it has officially removed price markups on same-day delivery from more than 100 popular stores via the Shipt Marketplace. While Target never charged markups on its own items for same-day delivery, orders from other retailers—like CVS, Walgreens, Lowe’s, and Sephora—often came with higher prices. That’s now changed for Circle 360 members.
This update effectively turns Circle 360 into a digital shopping mall, giving members access to everything they need with no surprise fees or extra costs.
Huge Savings and Convenience
According to Target, this no-markup benefit can help members save around 7 hours of time per month and about $300 a year. That’s time you can spend on family, hobbies, or simply relaxing instead of running errands.
The new feature makes everyday shopping smoother—whether it’s picking up medication, home improvement items, or beauty products—and all delivered straight to your doorstep on the same day.
Target’s Focus on Experience and Value
Cara Sylvester, Executive Vice President and Chief Guest Experience Officer at Target, explained that the goal is to deepen customer relationships and make life easier for busy shoppers. She noted that the upgraded Circle 360 experience is about building a true digital shopping center—something that feels personal, efficient, and modern.
Shipt CEO Kamau Witherspoon also supported the move, highlighting how it helps shoppers save time and money during a period when both are more valuable than ever.
New Sign-Up Bonus
To encourage more people to try Circle 360, Target is offering a special deal for new members. If you sign up now, you can get $20 off your first $75+ order using the same-day delivery perk. This gives new members a taste of the convenience and savings the membership can offer.
Other Recent Changes and Deals
Target hasn’t stopped with just the Circle 360 update. The retailer is also trying to bring customers back with several new offers and product launches:
Target’s “Summer Saturdays” event now features 10,000 new deals, with prices starting at just $1. Plus, new items have been added to store shelves at 1,800 locations, with prices as low as $6.99. These changes are part of Target’s broader effort to recover from recent declines in foot traffic and a 3.1% dip in sales compared to the same quarter in 2024.
It comes after backlash over the company pulling back its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, which triggered some public boycotts. Now, Target is focusing more on savings, convenience, and product variety to win shoppers back.
Monthly Freebies and More
Another new Circle 360 perk is the “Freebies” feature. Every month, members can choose either a free product from a selected list or a credit toward a future purchase. This ongoing benefit makes the membership feel even more rewarding and personalized.
Target’s changes to Circle 360 make it one of the most attractive retail memberships available today. With no markups on same-day delivery, new product additions, and serious seasonal savings, Target is positioning itself as a go-to destination for smart, convenient shopping in 2025.
