Wentworth, Missouri — The fire marshal is responding to a house fire in Wentworth.
This is a picture taken by our photographer at the scene. Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire near Spruce Street and Main Street shortly before 8 a.m. Friday.
They immediately activated a second alarm on the fire and requested mutual aid. Firefighters from Sarcoxie, Pierce City, and Monett are present.
The house burned down.
Deputies from Newton County Sheriff’s Office are also assisting.
