WrestleMania 41 is in the books. While the weekend’s final match may have left some fans disappointed, the two nights of action featured some incredible matches. In total, 14 matches were played inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with six new champions crowned.
One of those came in Night 2’s main event, where John Cena defeated undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes. Cena, who turned heel by attacking Rhodes after winning the Elimination Chamber, needed rapper Travis Scott’s help, as well as a low blow and a shot with the title belt, to make history by winning his 17th world title, breaking a tie with Ric Flair for the most title reigns of all time.
Becky Lynch made a stunning return, assisting her fellow Irishwoman Lyra Valkyria in winning the women’s tag team championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Dominik Mysterio won the intercontinental championship after surviving a fatal four-way with Bron Breakker, Penta, and Finn Balor.
Night 1 saw Jey Uso take the world heavyweight title from Gunther. Business continued to grow as two new champions were crowned in The New Day: Raw tag team champs and Jacob Fatu as United States champion.
But the real surprise came in the main event, when Paul Heyman shockingly betrayed both CM Punk and Roman Reigns to align himself with Seth Rollins, who emerged victorious from their triple threat match.
