A woman was slain in SW. According to investigators, the woman involved in a Missouri crash was expecting twins

Marionville, Missouri — Officials say the woman killed in a head-on collision in Lawrence County on Thursday afternoon (5/15) was pregnant with twins.

The crash occurred late Thursday afternoon (5/15) at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 265 in Marionville.

The driver of a Dodge SUV collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, killing the Dodge’s driver, a pregnant woman with twins.

According to Aurora and Marionville Police Department officials, the woman’s twin babies were also killed in the crash.

The occupants of the Toyota, a mother and her young son, were critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Aurora-Marionville Police, Marionville Fire, Aurora Fire, Mercy EMS, and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the fatal collision.
