In 2007, Stevens suffered a spinal cord injury in a motorcycle accident, which left him paralysed from the waist down. Despite the setback, he showed incredible strength and resilience. Over time, he regained partial mobility in his legs, using a wearable exoskeleton and leg braces to assist with movement.

His journey after the accident inspired many, as he remained hopeful and determined to overcome physical challenges.
