Emmy-winning actress Kim Delaney will not face criminal charges following her arrest in Marina Del Rey over the weekend in connection with an alleged domestic dispute.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges against Delaney and James Morgan, citing insufficient evidence, according to spokesperson Pamela Johnson.
Delaney, 63, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and released Tuesday morning. Morgan, arrested on suspicion of battery, was released on $20,000 bond by Sunday evening.
Authorities responded to a disturbance call on Marquesas Way around 9:45 a.m. on March 29.
Delaney is best known for her role as Detective Diane Russell on NYPD Blue, for which she won an Emmy in 1997. Her other TV credits include General Hospital, Army Wives, and All My Children.
