Mississippi — A traffic stop in Richland resulted in the arrest of an Arkansas man after police discovered approximately $200,000 in illegal drugs in his vehicle.
According to investigators, an officer pulled over a car on Highway 49 around midnight on April 2 for a traffic violation.
The driver was identified as Carl Dimino, 58, of Story, Arkansas.
Police said the officer smelled marijuana during the stop.
Dimino reportedly admitted to possessing marijuana and handed the officer a joint.
A search of the vehicle turned up a large stash of drugs, including 126 ecstasy dosage units, more than three pounds of MDMA, five pounds of psilocybin, 12 vials of pure LSD liquid, a significant quantity of LSD squares, 198 grams of marijuana, and two sets of digital scales.
Dimino also has a lengthy criminal history, having been arrested more than 20 times and charged with 12 felonies in seven states.
