WILMER, Alabama – A woman was shot by her husband in Wilmer over the weekend before he committed suicide, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

The MCSO said deputies were dispatched to 4630 Glenwood Court in Wilmer around 12:20 p.m. Saturday. According to a family member, Maria Caamano was shot by her husband, Refugio Caamano-Lopez.
